This week in Seomra Óisin, we have been learning about lines and angles in Maths. We have learned about different types of angles, for example; acute, obtuse, right, straight and reflex. This week, we were using our protractors for measuring and constructing angles.
In history, we have looked at ‘Schools from the Past’. As a class, we researched some of the punishments, lessons and equipment used in different schools.
We also began uncovering the Circulatory System in Science. We focused on the breathing system, discussing the different parts of the lungs, i.e. the diaphragm, trachea, intercostal muscles, bronchi, bronchiole and the alveoli. We also looked at how our bodies take in oxygen (02) and breathe out carbon dioxide (CO2).
