Seomra Chormac have been very busy the last few weeks. At the moment we are learning all about food chains and animal adaptation. In English we are writing narrative stories and are also doing a lot of very good reading! In Maths we have been discussing and working with money, along with improving our tables. We are very lucky at the moment because we have a GAA trainer on Fridays and he is helping improve the children’s understanding of the game! Sa Ghaeluinn táimid ag foghlaim nath cainte nua, ‘Táim spalptha leis an tart’ agus tá na páistí á úsáid gach lá!

What is Food Dudes?
Food Dudes is an award winning curriculum-linked evidence-based healthy eating programme, developed to encourage children to eat more fresh fruit and vegetables. It is based on repeating tastings of fresh fruit and vegetables, rewards and positive role models.
Over the coming weeks fresh fruit and vegetables will be delivered to the school on a daily basis. All classes will be participating and all families will receive additional information later this week.
Scoil Ghráinne is delighted to announce the launch of Aladdin Connect. This platform will improve the communication between the school and all families.
Access codes were sent out by text message to all parent(s)/Guardian(s) this morning. If you did not receive a text message or if you are experiencing any difficulties please contact the school office without delay.
