Hello and welcome to our classroom blog.
We have been really busy since the Christmas break doing work on the Bad Tempered Ladybird, the zoo and space. This has meant that we have learned all about the ladybird’s lifecycle and we drew beautiful pencil drawings of the ladybirds and their different features.
We created very unusual animals from clay for our own zoo and after looking at a map of Dublin Zoo, we worked in pairs to draw our own creative maps of our zoos.
We have been working really hard in Maths and enjoying the games that Ms. Gallagher brings in to us each day. Our counting skills are getting better and better and we are really enjoying working with patterns and sorting different shapes and links.
If you are talking to us, be sure to ask us “Cén saghas lae é?” or “Cad atá ort?” because we have been learning about the weather and our clothes in our Gaeilge classes.
Over the past few weeks we have been doing Athletics in P.E. and this means that we have been practicing our sprinting, doing relays, jumping and throwing and everybody has been really enjoying the different activities.
We have been practising the Ricky Resilience song lots for this week’s You Can Do It Assembly and everyone is becoming more resilient in class, in the yard and hopefully at home too.
Check back again soon for more updates,
