In Seomra Oráiste we have been learning about spring for the past few weeks. We read the stories farmer Duck and Rosie’s Walk and we learned about all of the work that farmers must do.
We even looked at some videos and pictures from Ms. Duffy’s farm in Co. Mayo.
Just like the rest of the school, we have been learning about the 1916 Centenary and we are looking forward to singing Molly Malone on Proclamation Day next week.
We are thoroughly enjoying celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge this week also. We went on a “súilóid dúlra” (nature walk) and we will also play some Irish games and go to a céilí (Irish dance)!
