The Inspectorate of the Department of Education and Skills (DES) works to improve the quality of learning for children in Irish schools. A sample of all schools is selected for inspection as part of the Inspectorate’s annual programme of inspection. This evaluation is designed to evaluate key aspects of the work of the school and to promote school improvement.
Scoil Ghráinne CNS will be inspected commencing the week of the 3rd of December 2018. During this inspection the Inspectorate will observe teaching and learning in classrooms and in support settings, inspectors will meet with the Board of Management, representatives from the Parents Association, the school staff and the school’s In-School Management (ISM) team. Teachers, parents and pupils will be surveyed and ultimately a report will be written and shared with the whole school community.
